Joseph Siino is one of the world’s leading business leaders in the field of intellectual property. A consummate IP deal maker, Mr. Siino has successfully negotiated billion-dollar deals and pioneered new models of innovation finance involving some of the world’s largest technology companies, including Alibaba, Xiaomi and Lenovo in China, Microsoft and Facebook in the United States, and Nokia in Europe.  As an entrepreneur and executive, Mr. Siino has built and led businesses generating hundreds of millions in annual licensing revenue and developed multi-billion-dollar intellectual property portfolios.

Prior to taking the helm at Via, Mr. Siino founded Ovidian Group, which he later merged into ICO Global to create Pendrell Corporation, a publicly-traded IP investment and advisory firm.  At Ovidian and Pendrell, Mr. Siino led several successful acquisitions, including the acquisition and subsequent spin-out of Nokia technology assets into Finland-based Helsinki Memory Technologies.  He also founded Hadrian Ventures, a privately-held investment and advisory firm that both invests and provides bespoke business solutions to companies around the world. 

Mr. Siino is an alumnus of the London Business School and also the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in physics and a JD in law.
